The client
The brief
SPV Group operate a UK wide and International service for the refurbishment and maintenance of buildings in the commercial and industrial sectors.
Capture of both video and photography to showcase their latest project for Neg Earth and to be used in future project pitches and construction award entries.
How it happened
Over a one-day shoot schedule, the idea was to capture both video and stills of the Neg Earth HQ – making use of our aerial drone, ground-based filming and photography services. Tackling video first, our drone was deployed to capture rolling footage of the full external structure and surrounding facilities. It was important to collect a mixture of visuals throughout its flight as we needed enough film to edit a short 2-3 minute showcase video. This would be used for the SPV Group’s upcoming construction awards entry.
When it came to photography, it was important to highlight the external structure and its intricacies to fully highlight the cladding work that had gone into this construction project. To capture this, we found a selection of vertical shots on site that would help visualise the straightness of the cladding (which had proved tricky on their previous attempts).
Throughout the entire shoot, our crew also had to be mindful of other works going on in the area, so to not disrupt any operations on location. Much to our delight, the Neg Earth facility remained free of disruption, and following a short editing period back at our studio, we were able to deliver an engaging feature video and a selection of high-definition images to an elated marketing team ahead of schedule.
